Manufacturing Engineer
Job description
- Facilitate continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, value stream mapping, and standard work, to streamline processes and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, establish goals, and develop action plans to achieve measurable results
- Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Establish optimal floor layout for product lines and incoming projects for batch production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with AutoCAD & SAP ERP System
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices, including value stream mapping, 5S, kanban, and visual management
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization
